Teen Seriously Injured In Traffic Crash

EL PASO, TX – A local teenagerwas seriously injuredlateFriday in a crash that involved several vehicles. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m.on Airport Rd., close to whereit intersects with Fred Wilson Ave.

The victim, Christopher Dagostino, 15, was pushing a pickup truck that had stalled out. The vehicle was driven by his mother, Norma Dagostino, police said. A driver of another car, Robert Hall, 22,had stopped to help the teen when a third vehicle crashed into them.

The teen was pinned between his mother’s truck and the other car, police said. He suffered severe leg injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers said the driver of the vehicle that caused the crash was a soldier from Fort Bliss. Police have not identified that person. Police said he was suspected of driving drunk.
