All Fort Bliss Soldiers Seeking Host For Thanksgiving Have Been Adopted
EL PASO, TX – Thanks to the overwhelming support of local El Paso-area families, all 650 Soldiers have been adopted for a Thanksgiving meal, officials say.
Each year, soldiers in the Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss spend Thanksgiving Day far from their homes and families. For over thirty years, the Thanksgiving Day Adopt-A-Soldier Program has matched soldiers with host families on Thanksgiving Day.
