Fire Damages West Side Home
EL PASO — Fire crews extinguished a fire to a WestSide home on Saturday. It happened along the 5900 block of Parkmont Place.
The family was using a fireplace and some of the flames managed to creep into the exteriors of a wall. Crews had to tear away part of thewall to completely extinguish the fire.
No one was injuried, fire crews said.
Otherwise, fire crews said they responded to more than a dozen electrical-related fires that were directly attributable to the snowfall that blanketed the region.
