Plastics Manufacturing Company To Bring Jobs To Santa Teresa

SANTA TERESA, N.M. (AP) – A plastics manufacturing company is expanding its operations to Santa Teresa.

Economic Development Secretary Fred Mondragon announced Friday that D.A. Inc. has signed a lease on a 67,000 square-foot building in the Verde Logistics Park.

Mondragon says the development is expected to create 50 jobs within three years with each employee earning an average annual salary of more than $30,000.

The Indiana-based company specializes in custom injection molding parts for vehicles. Its New Mexico operations are expected to begin later this month.

The expansion to Santa Teresa is the company’s first operation away from Indiana. The company is eligible for the state’s high wage jobs, rural jobs and manufacturer’s investment tax credits.
