Armed Men Sought In Convenience Store Holdup

EL PASO — Police are searching for twopeople who are responsible for a violent aggravated robbery.

On Monday night, just after 10 o’clock, two men armed with weapons walked into the Diamond Shamrock store, located at 1500 N. Zaragoza,police said.

The men threatened the clerk with their weapons and demanded money. The men then also threatened a customer that was hiding and took the customer’s vehicle. One of the men was armed with a shotgun and the other had a small pocket knife.

The store clerk described both men as Hispanic, around 5’2″ tall, weighing about 115 pounds, and last seen wearing all black clothing and bandanas. The vehicle taken is a 4-door 2001 Blue Hyundai Sonata with paper plates of P 57128.
