Traffic Flowing Again At I-10 East Near Yarbrough
EL PASO — El Paso emergency crews responded late Wednesday morning to a downed lightpole along I-10 East.
Texas Department of Transportation cameras were able to capture video of the completely halted traffic headed eastbound on the freeway after the lightpole which came down from the center divider obstructed all lanes of traffic. Crews managed to clear the debris by 2 p.m.
ABC 7 has learned avehicle collided with the center divider bringing down the lightpole.
Technicians with El Paso Electricarrived at the scene to shut off power to the line connecting the lightpole just before 12:30 p.m. Vehicles could be seen exiting the freeway near the Yarbrough Ave. onramp to I-10 East.
