Students Hear Sobering Message: Drunk Driving Kills
EL PASO, Texas – Drunk driving is graphic, bloody and there is nothing subtle about it. Driving drunk kills. That is the sobering message sobering message students at Socorro High School heard the last two days.
Students have been watching the two-day program called “Shattered Dreams”. It’s a demonstration by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, that brings together scenarios that include the accident scene with ambulances and police cars to arrest of the drunk driver.
The “grim reaper” also made his rounds in each classroom, pulling out unsuspecting students, who symbolized kids killed in drunk driving crashes.
