MURDER SUSPECT CAUGHT IN EL PASO
EL PASO, TX – A murder suspect was arrested as he crossed into El Paso from Juarez.
Customs and Border Protection officers say Joel Flores, 26, was caught entering the country at the Paso Del Norte Bridge on Tuesday night. The officers say when Flores presented his Colorado driver’s license, they learned he was wanted on a homicide charge in Colorado.
Flores is now in the custody of El Paso police while awaiting extradition.
This is the third murder suspect arrested by CBP officers in the past 30 days.
