Obituaries Listed For Two Victims Of Monday’s Plane Crash Near The Mexican Border

The El Paso Times has listed obituaries for two of the victims of the plane that crashed Monday near the Mexican border:

Carlos Marin, Commissioner of the United States International Boundary and Water Commission, was born on July 6, 1954 and was appointed by President George W. Bush on December 6, 2006 as Commissioner of the IBWC. Marin was dedicated to U.S.-Mexico border issues in a career that spanned more than 30 years. He is survived by his spouse, Rosa, his children, Michael and Lisa, his parents, Leopoldo and Evangelina Marin, as well as two sisters, one brother, and his extended family. Services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, September 21 at Crestview Funeral Home, located at 1462 N. Zaragoza.

The pilot, Matthew Peter Juneau, 54, is survived by his spouse, Carmen, son, Jobe, and daughter, Jasmin. He is also survived by his mother, Helena Joffrion, sister, Linda Lemoine, and brother, Breck Juneau. Visitation for Matthew Juneau will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, September 20 at Martin Funeral Home West with a rosary at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 22 at St. Pius Catholic Church.
