Four Fort Bliss Soldiers Injured Following Humvee Rollover

Four soldiers sustained non-life-threatening injuries Friday afternoon when their Humvee rolled over as they were traveling on U.S. 54 near the Alvarado Crossing, just past the New Mexico state line.

According to officials at Fort Bliss, the rollover happened around 4:20 p.m. A helicopter transported the soldiers to Beaumont Army Medical Center.

In the meantime, a section of U.S. 54 has been shut down so crews can clear the crash site.
