Human Ashes Found In New Hampshire Are From El Paso

ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Police in Rochester, N.H., say a bag of human ashes from a crematorium in Texas have been found on a road, and they’re trying to find out whose remains they are and how they got there.

A motorist found the ashes at about 5:35 p.m. Monday and turned them in to police. A tag on the bag says the ashes are from Evergreen Crematorium in El Paso. Police have contacted officials there, who are trying to identify the remains.
