Man Found Dead At Truck Stop
EL PASO COUNTY, Texas — Socorro police are investigating the death of a man whose bodywas found inside the cab of a tractor-trailer at a truck stop, Socorro Police Chief Gabriel Serna confirmed.
The man was found dead Wednesday afternoon at the Petro Truck Stop on Horizon Blvd. after police were notified by a trucking company that one of their drivers had not been heard from.
Officers went to the truck stop, found the truck and checked the cab where they found the driver dead. There were no visible signs of trauma, Serna said.
The medical examiner is at the scene and will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The victim appears to be from out of town, Serna said.
