Americas High Student Arrested For Assault
EL PASO, Texas — An 18-year-old male student at Americas High School was arrested Thursday after allegedly physically assaulting a coach during a physical education class, Socorro ISD officials said.
The coach pressed charges of assault against the student. The student was transported to the El Paso County Detention Facility by the Socorro ISD police, officials said.
The district continues to investigate the incident.
