Police Continue To Search For Suspect In Officer-Related Crash

Authorities have caught two suspects in connection with an officer-involved vehicle crash that happened late Saturday night. Meanwhile, the search continues for a third suspect.

Emergency dispatchers told ABC-7 the events began with a vehicle chase on Murchison and Brown and ended with a crash near the intersection of Ochoa and Schuster.

At this time there is no word on what caused the chase. According to investigators, the police officer was chasing a vehicle when he slammed into a stopped truck.

Paramedics transported the officer to the hospital; however, authorities said he was not seriously hurt and was released.

Several police units, including K-9 officers, have been searching for the suspect who allegedly caused the chase.

Authorities tell us a vehicle that was possibly related to the chase crashed into a house about a block away from Ochoa.
