EPCC Gets $700,000 Grant For Training Programs

EL PASO, Texas — The El Paso Community College is getting a $700,000 boost. The money comes from the Texas Workforce Commission and will be used to help students in customer service and auto repair get better job training.

“To the college and the community, what these checks mean is there will be people who will be eligible to receive these types of trainings for free,” said Luz Taboada, director of workforce development for EPCC.
