El Pasoan Plans Bus Tour To Jackson Memorial
EL PASO, Texas — Officials say Michael Jackson will not be buried at his Neverland Ranch in California.
The news comes as his loyal fans were planning their trip to Neverland.
Ceasar Torez chartered a bus and is planning to head out this coming Monday at 3 p.m. for a Tuesday public memorial that Torez says is happening at the Staples Center.
“Either way since I’ve booked this bus, either way I’ve said we’re still going to do this no matter what,” said Torez.
Torez said for $150 you can ride a bus, equipped with plenty of comfy seats and a DVD player, to Neverland.
He says 15 people have confirmed and expects many more to join them on the ride.
Torez says he never went to one of Jackson’s concerts and now that he’s dead, he says this is his last chance to join the King of Pop in some way.
He says the 13 1/2 hour trip to Santa Barbara will be filled with Jackson’s music and videos.
“It’s history in the making and El Paso should be part of it. Just to be a part of that big crowd..is just, beautiful,” said Torez.
