City Rep. Robinson Says He’s Never Had A Texas Driver’s License

Northeast city Rep. Carl Robinson, who got a traffic ticket last week and in 2008 for not having a Texas driver’s license, has never had a Texas driver’s license, according to a report in El Paso Inc.

Robinson has lived in Texas since at least 1984, when he bought his home in Northeast El Paso. He was elected to the El Paso City Council in 2009.

He told El Paso Inc. his last driver’s license may be from when he lived in Seattle. Robinson told ABC-7 last week that he has a Texas ID card.
