UTEP: Buckram Suffered No Ligament Damage When Injured Knee

An MRI revealed that UTEP senior running back Donald Buckram has a bruised knee but no ligament damage, according to UTEP officials.

Buckram injured his knee during practice on Wednesday. Whether or not he plays Saturday against Arkansas Pine Bluff at the Sun Bowl will be a game-time decision.

Buckram is UTEP’s ninth-leading all-time rusher with 2,082 yards. He also is tied for sixth place in career 100-yard games (nine) and seventh in rushing touchdowns (20) and needs 91 all-purpose yards to tie Fred Wendt for 10th place on the UTEP career list.
