El Paso Sheriff’s Strike Team Arrest Several On Prostitution, Drug Charges

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team has made several arrests involving prostitution and illegal drugs within the last two weeks.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested and charged three women with prostitution. Strike Team deputies contacted females who were posting escort ads on an internet website and made arrangements to meet at various hotels through out El Paso.

Upon arrival, verbal agreements were made to exchange money for sexual acts, according to sheriff’s officials. One woman was also arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a weapon. Several others were arrested during the sting for alleged street-level narcotics dealing. Among those arrested were:

– 28-year-old Christine Thompson, prostitution, $300 bond. – 22-year-old Shadonn Williams, prostitution, $300 bond. – 22-year-old Keisha Baker, prostitution, $800 bond and unlawful possession of a weapon, $800 bond. – 45-year-old Maria Aguilera, delivery of cocaine, $50,000 bond. – 57-year-old Hector Perez, delivery of cocaine, $50,000 bond. – 24-year-old Jabin Encinas, delivery of cocaine, $50,000 bond. – 21-year-old Christopher Munoz, delivery of cocaine, $50,000 bond.
