ABC-7 Xtra Sunday Night To Focus On Public Corruption Investigation
Sunday night on ABC-7 Xtra, host Darren Hunt and his guests will be discussing public corruption, including “Operation Poisoned Pawn,” which involved the indictment of 11 well-known El Pasoans this past week on bribery and fraud charges.
Joining Hunt will be Joe Spencer, the attorney for Socorro Mayor Willie Gandara Sr., one of the accused.
Also joining Hunt will be Enrique Moreno, chairman of the Citizens’ Commission for Best Practices in Government, which was formed in reaction to the recent corruption scandal in the Borderland.
David Crowder from ABC-7’s news partners at El Paso Inc., who has covered this story since the beginning, will join the discussion, as well.
