Sheriff’s Deputies Search For Man Accused Of Assaulting His Pregnant Wife

She’s nine months pregnant, but the Sheriff’s Office said that didn’t stop a man from assaulting his common-law wife. Now, the Sheriff’s Office said he’s on the run.

Authorities said Fernando Ochoa, a suspected Barriio Azteca gang member, struck his common-law wife in the back of the head after an argument in February. Ochoa was arrested that night, but has since bonded out and skipped a court hearing.
