2 El Diario Photographers Shot In Juarez; One Has Died

A reporter for El Diario De Juarez told ABC-7 two of the newspaper’s photographers were shot Thursday in the parking lot of the Rio Grande Mall in Juarez.

One of the photographers – an intern at the paper – died at the scene and the other, a recent hire at the paper, is in critical condition at a hospital.

Rio Grande Mall is about half a block from the main Diario De Juarez building.
