Police: 3 Men Arrested After East Side Bar Brawl

El Police Police have arrested three men after a fight at an east side bar Tuesday evening.

According to police, four men entered Ranitas Bar at 6970 Alameda Avenue at 9 p.m. and started a fight with another man at the bar.

Police said a gun was fired during the altercation, but no one was hit.

The victim, a 38-year-old man whose name has not been released, was punched and stabbed twice in the back. He was sent to University Medical Center for treatment.

Police said the four men fled the bar after the fight and three were caught shortly after.

Ruben Alvarado Jr., 27; Victor Simental, 35; and Jesus Marcial Luna, 29, were arrested and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity and criminal attempted murder.

The three men were booked into the El Paso County Jail each on $100,000 bonds.

Police are still investigating the incident and said more arrests are expected.
