Police Search For Attempted Convenience Store Robber
El Paso police are looking for the man they said tried to rob a convenience store in east El Paso.
It happened at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the Circle K in the 11800 block of Pebble Hills Boulevard.
Investigators said the suspect threatened the clerk with a knife or cutting instrument, demanded money, then kicked and punched the clerk.
Police said the man ended up leaving the store without taking anything.
Investigators described the suspect as a hispanic man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build.
He was wearing a gray hoodie, gray sweatpants and sun glasses, according to authorities.
