Man Injured In Early-Morning Train Collision

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a train collided with a Dodge pickup in Clint, Texas.

The collision occurred just after 8 a.m. at 13300 Celum Road, according to a police report.

Sheriff’s officials said the truck was driven by 53-year-old man from Alamogordo who complained of shoulder pain after the wreck.

Officials said the driver was traveling east on Celum Road and was not paying attention when he crossed the railroad tracks. Deputies said the driver’s side of the vehicle was struck by a Union Pacific Train.
