Update: Man Found Guilty Of Murdering Wife Sentenced To Life

Update: Chris Sanchez, who on Wednesday was convicted of murdering his common-law wife, was sentenced on Thursday morning to life in prison with no parole and ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.

Previous Story: An El Paso man has been found guilty of murdering his common-law wife.

A jury convicted Christopher Sanchez of shooting his wife, Leah Leggett twice – once in the body and once in the head.

Jurors are deliberating Sanchez’s punishment.
