El Paso Man Charged With 3rd DWI
El Paso Police have charged a man with DWI 3rd or more after a late night traffic stop.
According to police, the investigation revealed that Elio Medina, 31, of the 300 block of Lomaland, was driving a 2008 white Chevrolet Silverado 52 miles per hour in a posted 40 mile per hour zone, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 10:28 p.m.
The officer approached Medina who was intoxicated, according to police. Further investigation revealed that Medina had two previous convictions, one in December 1998 and one in January 2000. Medina was placed under arrest and booked into the El Paso County Jail on DWI 3rd or more and a bond set at $5,000.
