Manhunt Monday 03/14/11: Rafael Borruel

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual sought for a violent family violence assault. The target is identified as RAFAEL BORRUEL (18) of El Paso, TX.

MARCH 2011: Earlier this month on 03-01-2011 at 9:20 PM, Deputies were called to a residence in the 3800 block Judy Marie (Montana Vista) in reference to a family fight in progress. Deputies arrived & met with the Reporter / Victim who told authorities his son RAFAEL BORRUEL had just violently assaulted him.

Investigation by Deputies revealed BORRUEL had arrived home drunk on this date where an argument ensued between BORRUEL and his father. BORRUEL went on to assault his father punching him several times & even biting him on the arm before fleeing the residence. Deputies arrived a short time later but BORRUEL had already fled the scene. BORRUEL returned to the residence several hours later & began to throw rocks at the residence damaging the home. BORRUEL eluded capture this night & has not been seen since.

Charges have since been filed & Sheriff?s Investigators need your help in finding RAFAEL BORRUEL who is now wanted for the offense of ASSAULT / FAMILY VIOLENCE.

BORRUEL has mentioned to family members his dislike of Law Enforcement & has stated he will not be arrested without a fight.

BORRUEL has an extensive criminal history. He has previous arrests for POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, AGGRAVATED ROBBERY, THEFT.
