Sugar Detox: Day 28

Going Out With An A.1. Covered Bang

Only 48 hours to go.

I decided to make one of my favorite dishes for dinner tonight, modified of course to be healthier.

American Stir Fry

Chicken Breast Frozen BroccoliFrozen CarrotsWhole Wheat RiceA.1. Sauce

Make the rice. Steam the veggies (hopefully you bought the steam-in-bag kind. Those are awesome for lazy people like me). Spray a skillet with cooking spray and drizzle enough A.1. sauce to coat (NOT cover) chicken and cook on medium-high heat until there isn’t any pink in the middle of the chicken. Combine and serve.

It amazing. I have the palette of a five-year-old so this is perfect if you have kids.

Jack had seconds. He said it’s his favorite meal since we started changing our diet and insists I make it again for dinner tomorrow.

I’ve never had a request for an encore dinner before, so I take this as a compliment.

Also, I found the coolest product at Target today called Mi0. It’s like this Tic-Tac sized bottle of super-concentrated drink mix. You simply add a squeeze to your water bottle and BOOM… you’ve got flavored water. I bought the Peach Tea kind, but they had tons of flavors. Each bottle gives 24 servings so I can keep it in my purse for restaurants since I’m sick and tired of ordering water where ever I go.

I tried it with my water for dinner and it was awesome. I can’t wait to try all the other flavors.
