Crash Near Deming Shuts Down Part Of Interstate 10
Part of the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Deming were shut down Saturday, according to the New Mexico State Police.
Officials said there was a crash involving five semi-trucks. Drivers were directed to exit the freeway at mile marker 55. They were allowed back on at mile marker 49.
Authorities blamed low visibility for the crash.
Three of the five semis were totaled and two people were hospitalized, officials said.
