Man Shot In Berino, N.M.

A man was shot early Saturday morning in Berino, New Mexico.

Dona Ana County sheriff’s deputies said they responded to the 200 block of Otero Street at about 1:16 a.m. in reference to a Hispanic man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities said the man was able to describe what happened and give possible suspects before he was flown to a hospital in El Paso.

Sheriff’s officials said this investigation is ongoing.
