Husband Of Homeless Woman Killed Speaks With ABC-7

Patrick Driscoll said not a day goes by that he doesn’t think about the love of his life, Venus Driscoll.

His wife Venus was killed back in March.

Many times the death of a homeless person can go unnoticed.

Husband Patrick has been homeless for 26 years. He met Venus and said he knew she was special.

“Where do I start,” Driscoll said. “She was a good-hearted person.”

They lived for several years together. Now, all he has left are his memories.

“My wife had cancer and went through chemo and her hair came back white and I thought she was beautiful even then,” said Driscoll.

He said he still carries her ashes with him everywhere he goes.

“I look out here and I wait to see her little white hair come walking up with her back pack,” said Patrick. “I know it ain’t ever gonna happen.”

Venus Driscoll also left behind two children.
