Man Arrested In Alleged Machete Attack Outside East El Paso Strip Club

El Paso police took in a man over the weekend they after he allegedly attacked another man with a machete outside an East Side strip club.

Police said 24-year-old Daniel Boushehri went after an 18-year-old man around midnight Saturday outside the Jaguars Gold Club.

Investigators said the victim suffered a cut to his leg.

Police also said they found two 27-inch machetes at the scene before catching up with Boushehri. He’s charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon.

This is the second incident in less than a week at a strip club.

Just before 3 a.m. on Thursday, El Paso County Sheriff?s deputies were called to Dreams Cabaret in far East El Paso County in reference to a disturbance. Deputies arrived moments later to find a group of male individuals arguing in the parking lot. Deputies quickly intervened and separated the groups.

Sheriff’s deputies tased a man who allegedly became combative, fighting with authorities, sheriff’s officials said. Santos Luevano Jr., 20, of the 10000 block of Montwood, was booked into the county jail for resisting arrest and evading arrest / detention.
