Man Allegedly Points Gun At Other Man In Broad Daylight At Album Park

Police Officers have arrested a man accused of pointing a gun and threatening to shoot another man at Album Park on Saturday afternoon.

Officers arrived at the park at about 5:00 in the afternoon after a report of an aggravated assault. Investigators said Daniel Hernandez, 18, and another man had gotten into an argument.

That argument escalated, according to police, and Hernandez pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to shoot him.

Police said officers seized two handguns during the investigation.

Hernandez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon as well as a warrant for possessing drug paraphernalia that had been filed previously.
