Manhunt Monday 07/04/11: Arturo Blanco
This week’s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for Sexually Assaulting then 15 year-old Jeremiah back in 1995. The target is identified as ARTURO BLANCO (56) of El Paso, TX.
ARTURO BLANCO is a well known fugitive in the El Paso County, Texas area sought for a crime he committed almost 16 years ago to the day (July 5, 1995). He has been previously featured on MANHUNT MONDAY September 13, 2010, Crime Stoppers of El Paso MOST WANTED on February 11, 2011 & was featured on AMERICAS MOST WANTED November 13, 2010.
JULY 1995: On July 5th, 1995, young Jeremiah (15) was selling newspapers on a street corner in Northeast El Paso, TX when he approached by BLANCO claiming to own a music business. BLANCO offers Jeremiah a job & after talking to his mother he accepts. BLANCO takes Jeremiah to his residence & proceeds to sexually assault him. BLANCO dropped off Jeremiah at a nearby bus stop and told him never to tell. BLANCO was arrested for the incident a short time later but was released on bail. BLANCO showed for a pre-trial hearing but absconded afterwards never reporting for another hearing. BLANCO was apparently indicted in 2000 for sexually assaulting another boy.
Jeremiah now in his 30’s, recently requested BLANCO once again be profiled on MANHUNT MONDAY to help bring closure to him in this horrific experience.
BLANCO has remained on the run all these years eluding capture. He is wanted for the offenses of AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD & SEXUAL ASSAULT to include other unrelated drug & weapon charges.
NEW INFORMATION: After BLANCO’s profile aired on AMERICAS MOST WANTED in November 2010, several sightings of BLANCO have been reported to the AMW call center – stretching from California, Minnesota, New York & here in El Paso, TX. Jeremiah came forward & has gone public with his story to help capture this monster. Please help us find BLANCO & put him behind bars so he will not hurt anyone else.
