Police: Man Running With Case Of Beer Had Cocaine

Officers who approached a man running with a case of beer saw him toss a small bag of cocaine, police said.

Daniel Acuna was running with a 12-pack of beer in hand in the 200 block of Baltimore when officers approached him. Police said Acuna threw a plastic bag containing a little more than half a gram of cocaine on the ground.

Acuna, 29, of the 4900 block of Guadalupe Street was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance less than one gram. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bond set at $1,500.
