UPDATE: Man Reported Missing Found Safe
A man reported missing Friday morning was found safe and unharmed early Monday at the Paso Del Norte Bridge, officers with the Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit said.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers spotted 56-year-old Leonel A. Meza-Morado returning to El Paso from Juarez, police said. Meza-Morado, of the 11600 block of Gwen Evans Lane, was reunited with his family.
Meza-Morado disappeared from the Desert Heaven Adult Day-Care, 8615 San Juan in the Lower Valley, on Friday morning. He suffers from dementia, early stages of Alzheimer’s and takes medication for diabetes, police said.
