Police: Shots Fired Outside West El Paso Nightclub

El Paso Police Department officers are looking for several men who fired several shots outside a West Side nightclub.

Police were called to Club Peoria about 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of North Mesa Street.

Several witnesses told emergency crews they heard the shots coming from the parking lot after club security kicked out several men out of the club.

Police spokesman Darrel Petry said that no one and nothing was hit, and it appears that whoever fired the weapon wasn’t aiming at anything or anyone in particular.

Officers are looking for three men who possibly drove away in a red Chrysler 300.

Part of the parking lot, as well as North Mesa, was blocked off as police recovered bullet casings they found on the street. But the street was reopened at 4:30 a.m.

Police said an investigation is ongoing.
