NMSU Basketball Home Opener Start Time Against UTEP Moved to 6 PM

LAS CRUCES (Nov. 2) – The start time for the New Mexico State men’s basketball home opener against UTEP, Nov. 19, has been moved to a 6 p.m. start.

The 2011-12 home opener against rival UTEP is sponsored by Sonic as part of the Sonic Battle of I-10 and will also feature the unveiling of the new floor, a special halftime entertainment act and the new more intimate seating configuration.

The start time is being moved from the normal 7 p.m. start time to allow fans to attend the basketball game and then watch the NM State football game at BYU at 8:15 p.m. on ESPNU. Fans are encouraged to arrive at the Pan American Center early in order to see the special unveiling of the new court, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. (doors will open at 4 p.m.).

Season and mini plan tickets are still available by visiting the Pan American Center ticket office or calling 575-646-1420. All ticket plans include the home opener against UTEP. Reserved season tickets start at just $69, while four-game mini-plans start at just $28.

NM State men’s basketball games with start times other than 7 p.m.:

Nov. 19 against UTEP at 6 p.m.

Dec. 19 vs. Southern at 5 p.m.

Dec. 31 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Noon

Jan. 28 vs. Fresno State at 7:30 p.m.

Feb. 1 vs. Cal State Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 18 vs. ESPNU BracketBuster at TBA
