Armed Man Barricaded On Fort Bliss

An armed man is barricaded in a home on Fort Bliss, a post spokesman said. The man has refused to come out of the home since before 2:30 Saturday afternoon, said post officials.

Fort Bliss officials said the man has no hostages but has refused to come out of the house. The Fort Bliss Special Response Team has secured the military housing area off of Fred Wilson.

A Post Spokesman said the man, who has not been identified, has not fired any shots and is not threatening anyone.
