Las Cruces Teen Charged With Forcing Sex With Young Girl

Las Cruces Police arrested a teenage boy accused of raping a young relative multiple times over the course of at least one year.

Eugene A. Ramirez Jr., 17, has been charged with nine counts of criminal sexual penetration in the first degree, and one count each of kidnapping and incest.

Police said the alleged assaults happened a few years ago, but the girl did not say anything because Ramirez allegedly threatened her not to.

Investigators said Ramirez allegedly held the girl against her will when he forced her to have sex with him on at least nine different occasions.

Police said the girl was under 12 years old when the assaults are believed to have started.

According to court documents, the girl told investigators Ramirez recently told her, “You’re lucky I have a girlfriend now.”

Ramirez is being held without bond at the Doa Ana County Detention Center .
