Members Of Bandidos Biker Gang Arrested In El Paso Raids
Six alleged members of an outlaw motorcycle gang accused of beating and robbing victims for wearing the wrong colors or logos on their vests and T-shirts were arrested Wednesday.
Authorities working for Operation Stonegarden, which targeted members of the Bandidos gang and one of its support groups known as the Cremators, raided several homes and served warrants for aggravated assault, assault and robbery at various locations in El Paso. Each warrant is enhanced with a charge of engaging in organized criminal.
Those arrested include 45-year old Dennis Richardson of the 10400 block of Hodges Circle; 52-year old Paul Aguilar of the 5200 block of Cornell Avenue; 33-year old Jesus Avila of the 8200 block of Carpenter Drive; 54-year old Bobby Robinson of the 11900 block of Mesquite Rock Drive; 27-year old Nicholas Derry of the 800 block of Desert Bush Drive; and 26-year old Anne Weber, also of the 800 block of Desert Bush.
Aguilar and Avila also face charges of of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault and robbery.
The agencies that conducted the raids include the El Paso Police Department’s Gang Unit, FBI, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Homeland Security Investigations, Texas Department of Public Safety, United States Marshals Office and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
