Manhunt underway for armed robbery suspect
El Paso police say an armed robber is on the loose after holding up a northeast convenience store.
Just after 1 a.m. police say a man armed with a hand gun robbed the 7-11 located on the 5700 block of Hondo Pass at Railroad. According to police, the man was described by the clerk as a Hispanic man wearing a ski mask, and took off after demanding an undisclosed amount of money from the clerk.
Dozens of police units searched the surrounding neighborhoods with the help of a K-9 unit and a helicopter. Investigators say nobody was hurt in the incident.
