78 cats pulled from Central El Paso home this month to die
All 78 cats that were removed from a Central El Paso home earlier this month will not survive.
Some cats, including kittens, have died because of respiratory issues. The rest have been euthanized or will be euthanized according to Animal Services spokeswoman Tammy Fonce-Olivas.
The cats are being euthanized because they are not healthy and/or not domesticated.
Traps were left on the property in the 3800 block of Bliss avenue to catch anymore cats but it was not immediately known if any had been caught.
Animal Services gave the owner of the home 18 citations for six cats earlier this month but more citations were expected.
