El Paso construction worker allegedly kills co-worker in Houston

A worker who’s part of an El Paso construction crew in Houston told his boss he wouldn’t be showing up for work Wednesday morning because he said he killed his roommate overnight

Houston police said his roommate was another member of that crew from El Paso. They say after the man allegedly stabbed his roommate at the motel the crew was staying at, and notified his boss, he took off.

The suspect has been captured but police haven’t released his name yet.

They say he was bitten by a police dog after trying to run away. He was taken to a hospital for his injury.

Other co-workers told investigators the men had been arguing for days.
