Las Cruces High softball coach pronounced dead

The Las Cruces High softball coach who lead his team to it’s first 5-A title last year, is dead.

Will Garcia was pronounced dead at Mountian View Hospital Saturday.

Students will be holding a vigil in the coach’s honor tonight on the LCHS softball field.

Garcia has just finished his fourth season as head coach. He was 39-years-old.
