Update: El Paso Police ID woman who allegedly fled police, crashed SUV near Scenic Dr.

Dec. 18, 2013 Update:

A 34-year-old woman who allegedly led law enforcement on a chase Tuesday morning has been arrested and charged with burglary of habitation.

The woman, identified as Angela Watson-Wiseman of Memphis, Tenn., allegedly fled her Toyota Highlander at about 8:40 a.m. Tuesday after it rolled over and ended up on Mina Perdida in a home’s driveway.

About an hour later, West Side police officers responded to a burglary of habitation in progress at a home in Mina Perdida.

According to the police affidavit, Watson-Wiseman was naked in one of the bathrooms when the home’s owner arrived. The owner went outside the home to call his wife and police and as he was outside he said Watson-Wiseman left the home wearing her son’s clothes.

According to the police affidavit, she took:

-a men’s white button-up dress shirt
-men’s Stafford multi-color striped neck tie
-men’s yello Izod polo shirt
-pair of men’s Alfani black leather dress shoes
-brown American Eagle men’s belt

Officers arrived and found that the suspect had fled the area.

At about 2 p.m., the suspect, identified as Watson-Wiseman, returned to the home on Mina Perdida looking for her vehicle and personal property. Police took her into custody and she was charged with burglary of habitation and was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

Police expect additional charges to be filed against Watson-Wiseman.

Dec. 17, 2013 Story: El Paso police have confirmed to ABC-7 they have a female in custody this afternoon that may have been the driver of the SUV Texas Department of Public Safety and El Paso County Sheriffs deputies chased in east El Paso at high rates of speed this morning.

The driver evaded DPS troopers and deputies with the chase ending near Scenic Drive at about 9 a.m. this morning where the driver reportedly pushed the SUV off a dirt road and down the mountain where it rolled over and landed just feet from a house located on Mina Perdida.

At this time it is unknown why the driver was evading law enforcement or why the vehicle was pushed down the mountain.
