StormTrack Weather First Alert: Rain chances increase 4th of July and Thursday

A StormTrack Weather First Alert has been issued for Wednesday and Thursday of this week due to the increased chances of rain.

Rain chances will go up to 60 percent with the potential of some flooding in spots across El Paso and the surrounding area.

The areas that were hit with the fires will be more prone to flooding dangers since a lot of the vegetation has been burned and flash flooding will be a big concern.

Best chances for heavy rain will be in El Paso and west of the city.
