Bystander near Montana Vista fatal accident sought for information

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help with any information regarding a male bystander who made contact with the Alberto Coronado, the driver charged in a fatal crash that killed five people in Montana Vista last month.

El Paso Sheriff’s officials said the unknown male bystander, who made contact with Coronado at the time of the crash, has information that will assist with the investigation and is not being sought for none other than information.

It is unknown if the bystander left on foot or in a vehicle after he spoke to Coronado shortly after the accident. The male bystander is described as approximately 45 to 50 years of age, light complexion, was possibly wearing a blue shirt, had sunglasses on, and was accompanied by a female wearing a peach in color blouse.

Traffic investigators are requesting this person please come forward and/or call the Sheriff’s Office Communications Section at 915-546-2280 with any information.
Coronado was arrested and charged with five counts of intoxication manslaughter.
