Update: Body found in canal on Gateway East
A body has been found in East El Paso near the 6600 block of Gateway East near Airway.
Police say the body appears to be that of a male, in his late 30’s to early 40’s.
The body was spotted in a canal by a passerby. Police received a call just before 7 a.m.
El Paso Police’s Crimes Against Persons detectives were called to the scene. They assisted Mission Valley Patrol Officers.
Foul play does not appear to be involved, according to police.
Investigators are conducting an investigation.
